It's time for Audio SF's 5th annual Holiday party!
This year we are honored to host the legendary Tiefschwarz- In a world of ever-changing trends, TIEFSCHWARZ (deep black) is the most timeless of hues: it has style, depth, intrigue and above all staying power. And with a DJ & Producer career spanning more than 14 years to date.
Tiefschwarz will be joined by Silky. In the years since that relationship was formed, Silky has worked tirelessly to establish himself as a formidable artist and immediately found himself associated with several high-profile labels. With a background in piano playing, his production skills set him apart from many of his peers and he had remixes on labels such as Lower East, Alola and Superfreq. More recently, Silky has also appeared on No.19 Music, My Favorite Robot, Akbal, OFF Recordings and Culprit (with his disCerN project). His sound ethics focuses on the deeper, more emotive side of house music with a driving and uplifting atmosphere and occasion dalliances with the dark side.
In between his studio sessions, Silky tours heavily, sharing his passion for house and techno with the rest of the world. Having spent much of his youth mixing with vinyl, his technical know-how and musical knowledge are of an exceptional level and he regularly wows crowds from Hawaii to Hong Kong, still utilizing vinyl in all of his sets. In fact, Silky has been booked to play at several of the world’s most influential club spaces and festivals including; Lost Beach Club in Ecuador, Output in New York, Watergate in Berlin, Kee Club in Hong Kong, Spybar in Chicago, The Standard Rooftop in Los Angeles and Mexico’s BPM Festival. He was also recently selected for a much-coveted place on Mixmag’s Los Angeles Lab sessions, performing a scintillating live mix alongside co-headliner Tiefschwarz!
Sonny Fodera is a beast. Having released on labels like Defected, Dirtybird, Casual, Suara, Visionquest and more, he's considered one of the best producer and DJs on the planet. We are excited to have him back at Audio on December 15th!
Having come up through the ranks at a startling rate, Australian Sonny Fodera is now leading from the front. Over the last couple of years, the man originally turned on to the dance by Derrick Carter has fomented his own groove driven, emotive brand of house that now resonates around the world. Turning heads right from the off were his compilations on Deep Down and Defected, which found Sonny adding his remix flair to a bunch of classics, and after that came sophomore effort After Parties & Aeroplanes. Again a collaborative affair featuring the likes of Doorly, Gene Farris and Cajmere, it was a more jacking, sharp-edged treat designed for maximum dance floor impact, but was also stuffed with unforgettable vocals that again saw Sonny stepping up his game.

The incredible Kölsch hits Audio on December 1st! This will be one of the most anticipated events to close out 2018, see you on the dance floor.
For Danish native Kölsch, Kompakt is the “perfect label” to call “home.” The much -‐ revered Cologne-‐based imprint released Kölsch’s albums ‘1977’ and ‘1983’ continuing a tradition of providing ground breaking and genre-‐defining cuts. Kölsch’s work proved to rewrite the rulebook on techno production, setting it on a melodic, emotion-‐induced course. Kölsch's first critically acclaimed album release, ‘1977’, which is full of timeless tracks such as Loreley, Opa, Oma and Goldfisch, signifies the year of his birth and draws inspiration from his culturally diverse upbringing. He notes himself, “being half Irish, half German and living in Denmark – it was all one big messy period of my life.” Living in Christiania, an anarchic hippie commune in Copenhagen while spending school summers in Germany with his grandparents, he recalls how ‘1977’ was a product of “reminiscing about what shaped me as a kid” and “the weird ideas and concepts I had on my mind at the time.” Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac has shown her undying support, noting 'that man is sort of King when it comes to pianos and house music. He’s got a way of wrenching your emotions". With a string of high profile festival shows Kölsch has continued his run of global domination with his Ibiza residency ‘In The Dark’ at Hï Ibiza, iconic DC 10, Berghain/ Panorambar DJ sets and his infamous live stream for 5 million people on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in October.

International DJ, producer and remixer Tino Piontek aka Purple Disco Machine has been on a whirlwind of a musical journey since the 2009 conception of his highly successful disco house music project.
The Dresden-born artist has racked up numerous achievements, although it was his 2013 breakthrough hit ‘My House’, on OFF Recordings, that really propelled Purple Disco Machine into new heights; landing the #1 spot within Beatport’s deep house chart and, at its peak, #3 overall. The track remains one of Beatport’s best ever sellers and Purple Disco Machine ranks #18 in the online retailer’s all-time Top 100 Artists chart.

Satin Jackets make their long awaited Audio debut on February 3rd!
Satin Jackets was created by German music producer Tim Bernhardt, who later teamed up with his friend Den Ishu as the lead performer. Worldwide successes like “You Make Me Feel Good,” collaborations with in-demand vocalists, as well as top-ranked remixing work for the likes of genre-defining acts such as Goldroom and Blank&Jones, have turned the project into a very recognizable brand name for lush Indie Dance and Nu Disco tunes. Their debut album titled “Panorama Pacifico” has been out since April 2016 on the acclaimed Eskimo imprint. The Belgian label has been a purveyor of disco, house, and everything in between for over fifteen years. Satin Jackets spent the last year between the studio recording and taking their eponymous live show through the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia thereby opening their fluid pop-appeal and accessible four-to-the-floor groove up to the world at large. Scaling the heights of the Hype machine from their first release to the latest, and clocking up way over twenty-five million plays on Spotify, Satin Jackets’ original brand of diva funk and smooth disco has whetted the tastebuds of the likes of Majestic Casual, Clash Magazine, and i-D mag who said the duo’s “super sexy, infectious house music is filled with the vibe of summertime.” Their ongoing work with Eskimo Recordings will ensure that Satin Jackets continues playing a vital role with crowds favoring momentum between 105 and 115 beats per minute.

Italian Techno producer, Luca Bacchetti grabs hold of Audio's massive Funktion One system on August 11th.
Luca Bacchetti is the first to admit it. Just as musical inspiration runs through his veins and is his very lifeblood, so too is a certain restlessness and a propensity for boredom for a singular musical output that accompanies it. There’s simply too much music to draw from and too much beauty in life that inspires creative expression – whether it be from art or through travel, both of which he embraces with the same lust that accompanies his inspiring sonic shapeshifting career over the past decade.
Vive la France! Join us for the Bastille Day Soirée at Hawthorn on Friday, July 14th! Hosted by TONY Presents Entertainment and Alliance Française de San Francisco...
